Description

These Kentucky Hot Brown Sliders are cheesy, savory, and packed with comforting flavor. Inspired by the iconic Louisville Hot Brown sandwich, these easy lunch meat sandwiches combine turkey, bacon, gooey cheese, and buttery Hawaiian rolls for the ultimate baked sliders recipe. Perfect for weeknight dinners, party snacks, or brunch spreads.

Ingredients

Scale

12 Hawaiian slider rolls
¾ lb sliced roasted turkey breast
6 slices crispy turkey bacon, halved
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1 cup shredded sharp white cheddar cheese
1 medium tomato, thinly sliced (optional)

For the topping:
2 tablespoons melted butter
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
½ teaspoon onion powder
Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Slice slider rolls in half horizontally and place the bottom halves in a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
Layer sliced turkey evenly over the bottom buns, followed by bacon and optional tomato slices.
Sprinkle mozzarella and cheddar cheese evenly over the meat. Add the top buns.
In a small bowl, mix melted butter, garlic powder, Dijon mustard, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Brush over the tops of the rolls.
Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 15 minutes. Remove foil and bake an additional 5–7 minutes, until tops are golden.
Let sliders cool for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

Use Hawaiian rolls for their perfect sweetness and soft texture.

Do not skip the foil during baking—this ensures the inside melts before the tops crisp.

Sliders can be made ahead and baked just before serving.

Customize with chicken, ham, or vegetarian alternatives if preferred.
